Product Description

Ceramic drum lagging is high performance pulley surface covering for belt conveyor systems, constructed by vulcanizing process. It is composed of high-hardness alumina ceramic tiles into tough elastic rubber matrix. Our ceramic pulley lagging adopt 95% Al2O3 ceramic with convex knobs on tile surface for maximum traction. The rubber backing absorbs impact stress and ensures reliable bonding onto pulley shell, gaps between ceramic blocks act as drainage channels for water, sludge and fines, realizing self-cleaning effect and avoiding friction loss cuased by material buid-up

Ceramic Pulley Lagging Composition:

Ceramic pulley lagging consists of three core composite parts: High alumina ceramic tiles, elastic rubber cushion layer, CN backing layer

• Ceramic Tiles: Mainly 92%~95% Al2O3 alumina ceramic. Hard convex ceramic knobs are distributed on the working surface. This ceramic material features high hardness, excellent abrasion resistance and high friction coefficient
• Rubber base layer: high-strength synthetic rubber compound. It acts as a buffer carrier for ceramic blocks. CN bonding layer can be added on the back for cold-adhesive installation on pulley shell
• CN bonding layer: CN bonding layer is semi-vulcanized active rubber compound on the back side of pulley lagging, specially designed for on-site cold bonding installation onto steel pulley shells
